TL;DR The OnePlus 16’s “final” camera specs have apparently leaked online.
The phone is said to have a 200MP main camera, a new 50MP ultrawide camera, and a 50MP 3x camera.
It looks like the 3x camera is virtually identical to the one seen on the OnePlus 13.
The OnePlus 15 was a bit of a disappointment on the camera front compared to the OnePlus 13. However, various leaks in 2026 suggest that the OnePlus 16 could have upgraded camera hardware. Now, a trusted tipster has revealed “final” camera specs.
Leaker Digital Chat Station on Weibo has revealed what might be the definitive OnePlus 16 camera specs. Check out the machine-translated screenshot below.
The leaker claims that the phone will have a 200MP 1/1.4-inch main camera, a 50MP 3x 1/1.95-inch telephoto shooter, and a 50MP ultrawide camera. This is rounded out by a 50MP selfie shooter with autofocus. Digital Chat Station also claims that the phone will inherit OPPO’s latest generation of flagship imaging tech.
In other words, those early leaks about a 200MP telephoto camera weren’t accurate. The 50MP telephoto camera seems identical to the OnePlus 13’s 3x camera, though, and we praised the older phone for its camera zoom capabilities. So it stands to reason that camera zoom quality should be on par with the OnePlus 13, if not a little better due to upgraded image processing. Nevertheless, we’re guessing this 200MP main camera will deliver improved image quality over the OnePlus 15’s relatively small 50MP primary shooter.
Otherwise, the OnePlus 16 was previously tipped to arrive with a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro chipset, a 9,000mAh battery, and a 165Hz screen. So even if you can’t officially get your hands on this device in Europe or the US, you might want to add it to your wishlist.
