IFA 2026 is here, and that means we’re in store for a flurry of announcements over the next few days. Dell has already revealed its next batch of laptops and Alienware hardware. If you’re up for more laptop news, Acer is now giving us a look at the latest additions to the Swift series.
Acer Swift Blade 14

Acer has announced that it is adding a new sub-brand to the Swift lineup. This new sub-brand introduces the Swift Blade series, and the Swift Blade 14 will be the very first entry in it. Just like other models in the Swift line, the Blade 14 is designed to be light and portable. It will weigh only 799g (1.76 lbs), and it measures 12.9mm (0.51 in) thin.
Despite its slim design, it packs a fair amount of power with its Intel Core 7 processor 350. That processor is paired with 12GB of LPDDR5 memory and up to 1 TB of storage. Acer also managed to fit a 50Wh battery in that slender chassis.
