Samsung is finally picking up the pace with its next major software release, rapidly expanding access to its Android 17-based skin across multiple product tiers. After rolling out beta builds to flagships like the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S24, Galaxy Z Fold 7, and Galaxy Z Flip 7, Samsung has now launched the One UI 9 beta program for the Galaxy Z Flip 6, Galaxy Z Fold 6, and the mid-range Galaxy A57.
According to tipster Tarun Vats on X, the One UI 9 beta is now available in South Korea for both the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6, with build versions such as F741NKSU4ZZHP for the clamshell foldable.
At the same time, the rollout has expanded to the first Galaxy A-series device for this run, with the One UI 9 beta going live in India for Samsung’s upper mid-ranger, the Galaxy A57. Tarun Vats notes on X that the Galaxy A57 update arrives with build number ending with ZZHJ and BZHI.
The download package weighs in at roughly 2,316MB and includes the August 5, 2026 security patch level. The changelog highlights enhanced personalization, refined productivity workflows, and security improvements, along with updates to core Samsung apps.
Samsung is rolling out beta upgrades in South Korea, India, Germany, Poland, the UK, and the US. We expect the remaining regions in this group to receive the update in due time as well.
If you own an eligible device in a participating region, you can enroll in the One UI 9 beta via the Samsung Members app by tapping the registration banner and heading to Settings > Software update > Download and install. Because these are pre-release builds, expect occasional bugs and ensure you back up critical data before updating.
