Why This Matters

Anker's SleepLab Pro introduces a non-intrusive sleep tracking solution using 60GHz radar technology, offering personalized sleep improvement routines without the need for wearable devices. This innovation highlights a shift towards more user-friendly and accessible sleep monitoring tools in the tech industry, potentially transforming how consumers approach sleep health. Its emphasis on personalization and ease of use could influence future sleep tech products to prioritize comfort and data-driven customization.

TL;DR Anker’s SleepLab Pro tracks sleep without anything on your body, using 60GHz radar to monitor heart rate, breathing, and four sleep stages from your bedside.

It uses your sleep data to personalize sounds, lighting, and breathing exercises, including a 28-day program and more than 180 built-in sounds.

No subscription or phone is required to use its core sleep features, although Anker hasn’t revealed pricing yet.

Anker is in the middle of a pretty big identity change. The company is gradually bringing familiar names like Soundcore and Eufy under the Anker umbrella, and at IFA 2026, we’re getting an interesting look at what that future could involve. One of the more unusual products coming out of that shift is the Anker Soundcore SleepLab Pro. It’s essentially a bedside speaker that wants to help you sleep better, but unlike a smartwatch, smart ring, or dedicated sleep tracker, you don’t actually have to wear anything to bed.

That alone could make the SleepLab Pro interesting for anyone who likes tracking their sleep but hates sleeping with a watch strapped to their wrist. The speaker uses 60GHz radar to monitor your heart rate and breathing from your bedside, while also figuring out which of four sleep stages you’re in. You can simply get into bed as usual and let it do its thing in the background.

Where it gets more interesting, though, is what Anker does with all that information. Rather than waking you up with another sleep score to obsess over, the SleepLab Pro is designed to figure out which sounds and lighting routines actually helped you sleep. Say you normally fall asleep to rain sounds one night and a different routine the next. The speaker can compare how your body responded to each one and use that information to help personalize future sessions.

It can also adjust breathing exercises around your own breathing rhythm instead of asking everyone to follow the same generic inhale-for-four-seconds routine. Anker says there are five research-backed modes, along with a 28-day program designed to gradually find the breathing rhythm that works best for you.
