GoKawiilMammotion debuts LUBA 4 AWD and Maston robot mowers for homes and pro turf care
Mammotion has introduced two new robotic mower lineups: the LUBA 4 AWD series for residential lawns and the Maston series aimed at professional users like golf courses. The three LUBA 4 AWD models handle lawns from roughly 0.75 to 3 acres and use a four-camera array, 360-degree LiDAR, and free lifetime NetRTK positioning alongside all-wheel drive capable of climbing steep 80% slopes. The Maston series adds fleet management tools for operators overseeing multiple machines across larger commercial properties.
GoKawiil's interpretation of the reporting above, not reported fact.
Robotic mowers are moving beyond simple backyard convenience into commercial-grade landscaping, competing with human crews for large properties like golf courses and parks. Adding LiDAR, multi-camera vision, and precise RTK positioning suggests manufacturers are pushing for more autonomous, GPS-independent navigation that could reduce reliance on buried perimeter wires. Fleet management features in the Maston line hint at a broader push to sell autonomous mowing as a service for commercial landscaping businesses.
- Mammotion's LUBA 4 AWD series ranges from 0.75 to 3 acres of coverage with LiDAR and four cameras.
- All LUBA 4 AWD models include all-wheel drive and can climb slopes up to about 38 degrees.
- The Maston series targets professional operators with fleet management and NetRTK-based navigation for larger properties.
