IFA 2026 is underway, and several brands have already announced new devices. There’s an Anker power bank with a built-in fan, a new Motorola smartwatch, and more. Joining these announcements is a unique take on portable gimbal cameras from Hohem.

The company is showing off the Hohem Eyepic — the world’s first 2-in-1 pocket gimbal camera. It looks a bit like a DJI Osmo Pocket 4, but instead of a tiny camera fixed to a gimbal, the Eyepic has a detachable camera unit.

The camera shoots 4K video at 60fps, comes with a hat clip and a lanyard, and can be safely submerged in water to a depth of 10m (32.8 feet).

It also gets some useful quality-of-life features. Users can rotate the 2.51-inch touchscreen to physically turn the camera from landscape to portrait orientation, allowing for full 4K vertical videos without any crop. When detached, the camera can be worn or magnetically attached to metal surfaces, and the touchscreen becomes a remote viewfinder, complete with a 1080p live preview and camera controls.
