GoKawiil's interpretation of the reporting above, not reported fact.
Surround-sound soundbar systems typically force buyers to choose between simplicity and true rear-channel immersion, since wired satellites limit placement and cost. A modular, battery-powered design that still supports Dolby Atmos and DTS Virtual:X, along with HDMI passthrough for HDR10+ and Dolby Vision, gives shoppers flexibility rarely found at this price point once discounted.
- JBL Bar 700 Mark 2 is $350 off, now $549.99 instead of $899.99.
- Rear satellites are detachable, battery-powered, and rechargeable via USB-C or docking.
- System includes 7.1-channel audio, a wireless subwoofer, and full HDMI passthrough support.
JBL Bar 700 MK2 Soundbar — This is the exact system the deal is about: a 7.1-channel Dolby Atmos soundbar whose two rear speakers detach, run on battery, and dock back on the bar to recharge. It's a rare way to get real surround placement without running wires, plus HDMI in with Dolby Vision passthrough for your console or streamer.
