Slow Horses season 6 has new creative leadership, but quality hasn’t dropped at all per reviews
Jackson Lamb and his motley Slough House crew are back next week, ready for more comedy-infused espionage antics.
Slow Horses season 6 premieres Wednesday, September 16 with one episode, followed by weekly releases through October 21.
Behind the scenes, season 6 brings several notable changes: a new showrunner and lead writer, and the season is based on two Mick Herron books rather than one.
But early signs point to these changes proving beneficial to the show.
Reviews dropped today, and Awards Buzz says Slow Horses’ new season is its “best one yet.” Similar sentiments are expressed by several other reviews. Here’s a sampling of excerpts:
