Bringing ANC to the entry-level AirPods narrows the gap between Apple's budget and premium earbuds, making the feature more accessible to casual buyers. The Watch's expanded health sensors reflect Apple's continued push to position its wearables as serious health-monitoring tools rather than just fitness trackers, competing directly with dedicated health devices.
