GoKawiilAnker cuts Soundcore Liberty 5 Pro earbuds to $149.99, first discount since launch
Anker's Soundcore Liberty 5 Pro earbuds, praised for strong call quality and IP55-rated durability, have dropped to $149.99 at Amazon, Best Buy, and Anker's own store, down from their usual $169.99. The earbuds had held that price steadily since their May debut, even skipping discounts during Prime Day in June.
GoKawiil's interpretation of the reporting above, not reported fact.
The timing suggests Anker is responding to competitive pressure from Apple's newly launched AirPods 5, whose higher-tier model now matches the Liberty 5 Pro's discounted price. This gives budget-conscious buyers a rare chance to get a well-reviewed, feature-rich alternative to AirPods at a comparable cost.
- Soundcore Liberty 5 Pro earbuds are now $149.99, down from $169.99, at multiple retailers.
- This marks the first price cut since the earbuds launched in May, even bypassing Prime Day discounts.
- The drop likely responds to Apple's AirPods 5 launch, which starts at $129 and reaches $149 for its higher-end version.
