TL;DR Samsung launched the new Galaxy Watch Ultra (2025) with 64GB storage and a new Titanium Blue color.
The refreshed Watch Ultra retains its $649.99 price and core features, including a 1.5-inch AMOLED display and 590mAh battery.
It also ships with the latest One UI 8 Watch based on Wear OS 6 update.
At Samsung Unpacked, Samsung has launched the Galaxy Watch 8 and Galaxy Watch 8 Classic, giving users updated options if they want to pick up a Samsung wearable. But that’s not all, as the company has also refreshed the Galaxy Watch Ultra with more storage and a new color.
Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra (2025): What’s new?

Samsung is referring to the refreshed Galaxy Watch Ultra simply as “Galaxy Watch Ultra,” but we’ve added the years 2025 and 2024 to distinguish between last year’s model and this year’s model.
The new Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra (2025) is the same as the previous Galaxy Watch Ultra released in 2024. The only three changes are an increase in the internal storage, going from 32GB in the older variant to 64GB in the newer version, the new Titanium Blue colorway, and the fact that the refreshed Watch Ultra ships with One UI 8 based on Wear OS 6.
The refreshed Galaxy Watch Ultra continues to cost $649.99 across its four colorways, so technically, you’re getting more value for your money now. Pre-orders for the refreshed Watch Ultra begin today, Jul 9, 2025, with general availability starting July 25, 2025. Like last year, you can get the watch only in an LTE variant — there is no Wi-Fi-only variant.

Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra (2025): The rest of the features

Since this is merely a color and storage refresh, the rest of the Galaxy Watch Ultra’s specifications remain the same. You can look forward to a squircle design with a 47mm dial size, a 1.5-inch AMOLED display with a 480 x 480 resolution, and 3,000nits of peak brightness. A sapphire crystal lens protects the display, and the watch comes with a MIL-STD-810H specification for durability, an IP68 water and dust resistance rating, and a 10ATM water pressure rating. It is also tested for ocean swimming and for use at high altitudes.
The Watch Ultra remains a large watch, weighing over 60 grams and extending 12.1mm from the top of its screen to the back of its sensor panel. There’s no rotating bezel, but you get orange accents, even on the refreshed Titanium Blue color. As you guessed it, the case is made of titanium.

The Galaxy Watch Ultra introduced the Dynamic Lug system in 2024, and Samsung has now adopted it across its lineup. While your much older Galaxy Watch straps will not work with the Ultra, the Galaxy Watch Ultra (2024) bands remain compatible with the Galaxy Watch Ultra (2025) as they are the same watch.
The Watch Ultra continues to use Samsung’s 3nm Exynos W1000 SoC, which is paired with 2GB of RAM.
The Galaxy Watch Ultra comes with a 590mAh battery, which lasts up to 48 hours in Exercise Power Saving Mode or 100 hours in Power Saving mode. Users should also be able to get around 60 hours between charges with regular use.
For its health features, the Galaxy Watch Ultra (2025) includes heart rate monitoring, blood oxygen tracking, body composition analysis, AGEs index tracking, sleep apnea monitoring, fall detection, ECG, and blood pressure measurements. Notably, the latter two features remain exclusive to Galaxy smartphones.
