Author Correction: Genomic deletion of malic enzyme 2 confers collateral lethality in pancreatic cancer

In the version of this article initially published, the total AMPKα immunoblot shown in Extended Data Fig. 8b, which presents a doxycycline concentration course, was inadvertently duplicated from Fig. 4f, which presents a doxycycline time course. The published Supplementary Information contains separate uncropped AMPKα immunoblots for these experiments in Supplementary Figs. 7 and 17. Extended Data Fig. 8b has now been corrected using the appropriate blot documented in Supplementary Fig. 17. Its legend has also been corrected by replacing “Time course” with “Concentration course” and “total AMPK” with “total AMPKα”.

An incorrect β-actin loading-control image was also inadvertently used in Fig. 4f during figure assembly. It has been replaced with the correct blot from that experiment, as documented in Supplementary Fig. 7.

The bottom row of Fig. 2f and Extended Data Fig. 3q derive from the same 79-day endpoint of the same orthotopic experiment. In Fig. 2f, these bioluminescence images were incorrectly labelled “76 days”; the label has been corrected to “79 days”.

These errors were introduced during figure preparation and labelling and do not affect the results or conclusions of the study.
