GoKawiilAs someone who is slowly but surely color-drenching my entire home, I’m not ashamed to admit that, yes, I would design an entire kitchen around a single stylish appliance. I know I’m not alone. And what could boost my home’s aesthetic more than a kitchen that matches the slow cooker?
Crock-Pot, the renowned slow cooker brand, has teamed up with Valspar to release six new slow-cooker colors, each with matching paint swatches. So if you’re looking to give your kitchen a makeover this fall, one of these color pairings may inspire your next design move.
The launch comes just ahead of fall, peak slow cooker season, at a time when color-drenching and using chic appliances as a focal point continue to be popular interior design trends.
“We wanted to reimagine what a slow cooker can look like in today’s kitchen — not only a hardworking appliance, but a beautifully designed piece that feels at home on the countertop,” Mallory Fuller-Guzman, a senior manager at Newell Brands, said in a statement regarding the launch. The new Crock-Pots are also meant to inspire people “to create spaces that feel personal and reflective of the way they live.”
Will somebody repaint their entire kitchen to match one of the new Crock-Pot colors? We’ll probably find out if we scroll Instagram long enough.
