Add Android Authority on Google: Preferred Source Google Discover
TL;DR Google developers have been working on a new UI for how Gemini users access their settings.
We already saw Google preparing to relocate many of the options currently on the account switcher view.
Now we have a better sense for the look this new interface could take, including moving some options to sub-screens.
Gemini is constantly evolving, and when that doesn’t mean the introduction of a new model, it’s often because we’re checking out Google’s latest tweaks to the layout of the app itself. Last week, we uncovered early progress towards changing up how Gemini Settings operate, moving information over from your account switcher. That effort appears to only be expanding, as we spot some further adjustments in the work for Gemini Settings.

This time, we’re looking at version 17.60.13.sa.arm64 of the Google app for Android. While this build will still show the existing Settings layout on your own device, we’re able to get an early preview at some of the reorganization that’s taking place behind the scenes. Right away, you should be able to notice how this new look differs from what Gemini’s been doing so far:

While right now these options exist as part of the app’s account switcher, we already saw Google planning to move many of them over to Gemini Settings. But as you can see here, Gemini Settings itself could be preparing to change up its look to more directly resemble the current account switcher options.
