GoKawiilXreal's xbx A01 Plus display glasses drop to $254 for Prime Day
Xreal's xbx A01 Plus display glasses, which launched this summer at $299, are now selling for $254 on Amazon and through Xreal during its October Prime Day sale. The glasses connect via USB-C to mirror displays from laptops and gaming handhelds, and ship with swappable outer shells, though they lack the three-degrees-of-freedom screen-locking feature found on Xreal's pricier $399 1S model.
GoKawiil's interpretation of the reporting above, not reported fact.
The discount narrows the price gap with Xreal's higher-end 1S glasses, making the feature trade-off a more relevant consideration for shoppers during the sale window. Temporary promotional pricing like this could pull budget-conscious buyers who use display glasses with handhelds such as the Steam Deck toward the cheaper option.
- Xreal's xbx A01 Plus glasses are discounted from $299 to $254 for Prime Day.
- They omit the three-degrees-of-freedom screen lock found on the pricier $399 1S model.
- The glasses support swappable outer shells, including a light-blocking 'Lights Out' option.
