The upgrade signals Apple extending its on-device AI push, Siri AI, into its smaller and cheaper smart home hardware, not just flagship devices, which could broaden adoption of Apple Intelligence features across price tiers. Pairing HomePod mini 2 with the new Apple TV 4K and full-size HomePods for home theater setups suggests Apple is positioning its speaker lineup as a more unified ecosystem play rather than standalone products.
