Tom's Hardware reviewed Edifier's Hecate G2000 Pro, a 2.0 desktop speaker system featuring a transparent hexagonal enclosure, customizable RGB lighting, and built-in 10-degree tilted angling for direct sound projection. The speakers are hardwired together with a 1.5-meter braided cable, include rubberized control buttons and a rear bass reflex port, and are aimed at both gaming and music use.
GoKawiil's interpretation of the reporting above, not reported fact.
The review suggests Edifier is targeting gamers and desk setup enthusiasts who want distinctive aesthetics alongside solid audio performance, a segment where visual design increasingly competes with sound quality as a selling point. Offering an RGB on/off option could reflect growing consumer fatigue with always-on lighting in gaming peripherals.
- Features a transparent, hexagonal speaker design with adjustable RGB lighting
- Speakers have a built-in 10° tilt, removing the need for stands or pads
- Hardwired via a 1.5-meter cable, with controls and ports on the right speaker
