Amazon Prime Day is here, and you might be forgiven for thinking you're trapped in the movie Groundhog Day, because wasn't it also Prime Day yesterday and the day before? Yup, it was -- for the first time, Prime Day is a four-day shopping event, compared to two days in the past, running July 8-11. But never mind -- the deals are worth it!

And some deals are so good, I feel like I need to tell you about them even though I've not yet finished my review of the product. And the product in question is Bluetti's new Elite 100 V2 portable power station, the smaller brother to the Elite 200 V2 that I covered earlier.

If you want a highly portable, yet highly capable power station for your adventures, this is well worth a look, because right now you can get 50% off. And if you use coupon code ZDNETBLUETTI at checkout, you can get an extra 5% off just for being a ZDNET reader.

Weighing in at 25 lbs and coming it at a 17 liter volume (12.6 x 9.8 x 8.5-inch), this is about 30% lighter and 35% smaller than units with a similar capacity from other manufacturers. It is, according to Bluetti, the smallest 1kWh power station around, and I have to agree with that.

It's become my grab-and-go power station for when weight matters.

The modest weight makes it a perfect choice for a grab-adn-go power station. Adrian Kingsley-Hughes/ZDNET
