GoKawiilApple adds MotionVFX, AI editing tools to Creator Studio apps
Apple announced AI-powered updates across its Creator Studio suite, including built-in MotionVFX effects for Final Cut Pro, a beta AI assistant for Logic Pro built with Apple and OpenAI models, and a generative fill tool for Pixelmator Pro. Keynote, Pages and Numbers are also gaining new AI assistants, with the updates arriving as a free update for Creator Studio subscribers in November.
GoKawiil's interpretation of the reporting above, not reported fact.
Bundling these AI features exclusively into the Creator Studio subscription rather than standalone app purchases could push more creative professionals toward Apple's subscription model over one-time licenses. The move also signals Apple's deepening reliance on OpenAI's models alongside its own, and positions its office and creative software to compete more directly with AI-infused rivals like Google's Workspace and Adobe's Creative Cloud.
- Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro and Pixelmator Pro are getting new AI and effects features
- Keynote, Pages and Numbers will gain AI assistants similar to Google's Gemini integration
- Updates are free but limited to Apple Creator Studio subscribers starting in November
