GoKawiilUS intelligence image reportedly reveals shape of China's secretive spaceplane
A U.S. intelligence report reportedly includes a rare orbital image of China's experimental spaceplane, offering the first detailed look at its design. The craft's shape is said to closely resemble other known spaceplane designs, such as the U.S. X-37B.
GoKawiil's interpretation of the reporting above, not reported fact.
If accurate, the image could help analysts assess China's reusable space vehicle ambitions and compare its technical capabilities to existing American and other nations' programs. The resemblance to other spaceplanes may suggest shared engineering approaches rather than a wholly novel design, according to the report.
