GoKawiilApple ships watchOS 27.3 beta with Siri Recap and Live Rewind
Apple has released the first developer beta of watchOS 27.3, introducing two Audio Intelligence features announced in September: Siri Recap and Live Rewind. Both work only on Apple Watch Series 12 and Apple Watch Ultra 4, with Siri Recap generating Apple Intelligence summaries of conversations and Live Rewind showing a 15-second transcript when the Digital Crown is double-pressed.

The rollout shows Apple following through on hardware-gated AI features it previewed months ago, tying advanced software capabilities to its newest watch chips rather than extending them to older devices. Built-in privacy measures, such as an audible chime for Live Rewind and auto-deleting summaries, suggest Apple is trying to preempt concerns about always-listening conversation tracking on a wearable device.

- Features are exclusive to Apple Watch Series 12 and Apple Watch Ultra 4.
