GoKawiilSpotify trials separate 'Pins' carousel in mobile Your Library tab
Spotify is testing a new mobile layout that moves pinned playlists, albums and podcasts out of the main Your Library feed into their own dedicated carousel shelf. The test, spotted by a Reddit user, adds a 'Library layout' menu letting users choose List, Grid or Compact view for pins independently of the rest of their library. It appears to be a server-side rollout reaching a limited set of Android and iOS users.
GoKawiil's interpretation of the reporting above, not reported fact.
Separating pinned content from the general feed could make it easier for heavy users to find favorites without scrolling through an unsorted library, suggesting Spotify is focused on small usability fixes alongside bigger changes like tighter Family plan checks and a reported AI Remix feature. Because it's a limited server-side test, there's no guarantee the feature reaches all users or ships in its current form.

- The test adds independent List, Grid, and Compact view options for pinned items via a new 'Library layout' menu.
