Your Weekend Streaming Watch List: 'Dexter: Resurrection,' 'Foundation,' 'Mad Max: Fury Road' and more

This weekend on streaming, we see the return of some of our favorite anti-heroes (cue the Taylor Swift). On Paramount Plus, Michael C. Hall returns as the titular vigilante serial killer in Dexter: Resurrection -- turns out, he wasn't dead after all. And on Hulu, some of the worst-behaved people on TV are back when the gang from It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia returns for the show's 17th season.

On Netflix, you can tune in to tons of great movies: This week marks the arrival of originals like the German thriller Brick and Tyler Perry's Madea's Destination Wedding, plus the modern cult classic Mad Max: Fury Road.

Netflix

Jasin Boland Mad Max: Fury Road (July 9) Charlize Theron has become one of the most reliable action stars around, and her turn as Furiosa in Mad Max: Fury Road helped her earn that reputation. The 2015 film from writer-director George Miller is set in a post-apocalyptic desert and is essentially a non-stop battle sequence where hero Max Rockatansky (Tom Hardy) teams up with Theron's Imperator Furiosa to wage a battle against warlord Immortan Joe (Hugh Keays-Byrne) and his army. Nicholas Hoult, Rosie Huntington-Whitely and Zoe Kravitz also star. Fury Road just arrived to Netflix this week.

Netflix Brick (July 10) In the new German thriller Brick, Tim and Olivia (Matthias Schweighöfer and Ruby O. Fee) wake up one day to discover they're trapped in their apartment by an impenetrable brick wall that has shown up out of nowhere. It's a problem affecting their entire building, so they have to work together with their neighbors to find a way out of the mysterious fortress and figure out why it's there in the first place. Brick arrived on Netflix on July 10.

Netflix Tyler Perry's Madea's Destination Wedding (July 11) Tyler Perry's Madea's Destination Wedding is the 13th Madea film and the second to be produced for and distributed directly on Netflix. In the film, Perry returns as the outspoken Madea (as well as playing her nephew, Brian), as their family travels to the Bahamas for an unexpected, last-minute wedding. The film drops this Friday, July 11.
