Until this year, Apple TV+ has never had a hit quite like Ted Lasso. And now, season 4 of the beloved series is officially in production, and a first look image has been shared.
Production on Ted Lasso season 4 has officially started in Kansas City
Today in a post on X, Apple CEO Tim Cook shared a first look at Ted Lasso season 4.
The new image came with the announcement that production has officially kicked off.

Ted Lasso season 4 is still expected to be set in London, but the production is apparently starting in the US instead.
We know that at the end of season 3, Ted Lasso was returning home to the US. And that may just be where the start of season 4 picks up.
Of course, the scene pictured above may or may not depict the very beginning of season 4, as TV shows and movies often shoot scenes out of order.
But based on Cook’s post, it’s easy to imagine this scene being a perfect kickoff for the new season.
Ted, Rebecca, Keeley, and Leslie could share a BBQ dinner as Lasso recalls what life has been like in the US. Meanwhile, the UK-based trio has likely made the journey for the purpose of recruiting Ted to coach the new women’s team that’s forming.
It’s hard to know for sure how the new season will start, but the US setting makes an episode 1 appearance seem highly likely.
Apple TV+ is available for $9.99 per month and features hit TV shows and movies like Ted Lasso, Severance, The Morning Show, Silo, and Shrinking.
