Today’s 9to5Toys Lunch Break deals are starting with a new Amazon all-time low on the 1TB M3 iPad Air – the 11-inch Cell model is now just shy of $250 off to deliver the lowest price we have tracked to date. From there we move over to a couple Mac models that are now even lower than yesterday with the 24GB M4 Pro Mac mini at $152 off the Apple price and the Midnight 15-inch 24GB M4 MacBook Air at $180 off. Head below for even more including a look at the all-new PowerBug.
This upgraded M3 iPad Air config just hit its best Amazon price ever at nearly $250 off, more from $499
While we did see $120 price drops delivering new all-time lows across the entire M3 iPad Air lineup for Prime Day a couple weeks ago, Amazon is offering a particularly notable deal at far better than that on one of the configurations this morning. Regularly $1,299, you’ll now find the 1TB 11-inch M3 iPad Airwith Wi-Fi + Cell upgrade down at $1,000.64 shipped – that nearly $250 off and the best price we have ever tracked on Amazon.
Now clearly a 1TB Cell model iPad Air is a far more niche configuration than say the base 11- and 13-inch models that sell for a whole lot less. But at this point, just about all of the configs had maxed out at $120 off – anything more than $100 off is particularly notable deal with most options never dropping any lower until Prime Day hit – and today’s deal delivers a far better discount than that.
If you happen to be eyeing an upgraded M3 Air as opposed to paying a whole lot more for the comparable M4 iPad Pro setup, it really doesn’t get a whole lot better than $250 off ($248.36 off to be exact here). We have featured clearance deals on the previous-generation M2 models that have been relatively popular among readers at $250 off this year, and today you’re getting the latest model that released not much more than a few months ago.
If you are looking to get in on the M3 Air lineup for less, that is certainly possible – the 11-inch lineup is starting at $499 shipped right now – but the actual deals on those options aren’t nearly as notable as we are seeing on the upgraded version above, or quite as deep as the offers we featured for Prime Day.
Apple’s 24GB M4 Pro Mac mini drops again to $1,247 ($152 off), 24GB M4 model down at $889
While we are yet to see the return of the $100 Prime Day price drop on the most affordable model, Amazon is offering some deals on the higher-end 24GB Mac mini releases, including the M4 and the M4 Pro variant that is now a touch lower than our previous mention. The M4 Mac mini with the 24GB RAM upgrade is currently sitting down at $889 while the more powerful M4 Pro model is going for $1,247 shipped, or $152 off the list price.
The entry-level 16GB with 256GB of storage is sitting at $540 and the 512GB variantis selling for $719 – we recommend holding off on these two until they are at least $100 off the list prices ($499 and $699). But the other two models are at far more notable prices right now:
The $110 price drop on the 24GB M4 is on par with the deal we spotted during the Prime Day festivities a couple weeks ago and the M4 Pro Mac mini is now undercutting our previous mention by a couple bucks for the lowest price of the summer deal season. Both models have gone for less in short-lived sales at Amazon in the past, but you are looking the lowest prices over the last month or so.
That said, we are talking about the more pricey end of the lineup here, perhaps really more for those with demanding creative projects to take care of, or those who demand a super snappy, upgraded headless Mac experience.
That said they are the most affordable Macs in the current-generation lineup with 24GB of RAM – if you’re looking to go portable, scope out the ongoing deals on the M4 MacBook Air lineup starting from $849 right here.
Apple’s Midnight 15-inch 24GB M4 MacBook Air is now $180 off at Amazon (Undercuts Prime Day)
We featured some updated deal pricing across the M4 MacBook Air lineup late last week and into the weekend with some select models falling even lower than the ongoing $150 price drops. Those offers were largely landing on the Starlight models, but this morning we spotted the Midnight dipping down below the $150 off range as well. More specifically speaking, you’ll find the 15-inch 24GB variant at $180 off right now. Details below on this model and more.
Amazon is now offering the Midnight 15-inch M4 MacBook Air with the upgraded 24GB of RAM and the 512GB SSD down at $1,420.13 shipped. That’s $179 off and the best price we can find online right now.
While you will find the less pricey 16GB variants starting down at $1,049 as well as the 13-inch Midnight from $849 with at least $150 in savings, the upgraded 15-inch above is now sitting at the best price we have tracked in roughly a month – it did fall about $20 less than this back in July for a few days but we are otherwise within about $2 of the best Amazon price to date.
Those not interested in the 24GB 15-inch will find an updated list of deal prices across the lineup below:

Missed out on the Prime Day deals? Apple’s USB-C AirPods Max are nearly $100 off today
Amazon is now offering the USB-C AirPods Max down at $449.99 shipped in the Midnight, Starlight, blue, and orange colorways. You’re looking at Apple’s latest $549 over-ear headphones at nearly $100 off the going rate for the lowest price we can find on the four aforementioned colors, although you will find all five matched over at Best Buy right now.
This year’s Prime Day festivities are long gone now, but it was the year’s biggest shopping and deal event so it’s worth understanding today’s deal through that lens. We did see most colors outside of the Midnight edition drop as low as $399 in a couple very short-lived sales at Walmart and Amazon – these particularly notable deals did not last long and gave way to a $430 discount price across the lineup.
The $399 Prime Day low was indeed the best price we had tracked for them from a reputable dealer online. But the Midnight option never fell below the $430 point, leaving today’s readily available discount within $20 of the best we have tracked on the black-like model at Amazon.
Apple’s USB-C headphones remain a hefty investment, even by comparison to some of the major competition from the likes of Bose and Sony, but you are at least landing a set at nearly $100 off today. The new Sony XM6 ANC over-ear headphones were a very popular set at launch recently (here’s our hands-on review) that carry an MSRP at the same price as today’s discounted rate on AirPods Max for reference. But while the XM6 sound great and wear quite comfortably, they do not feature quite as premium a design and the high-end build materials you’ll find on the Apple cans.
