Apple has released watchOS 26 beta 4 for developers, debuting new software a little more than two weeks after the last beta and ahead of the public beta’s arrival. watchOS 26 beta 4 expected to be shipped as first public beta soon watchOS 26 beta 4 is here, bringing the latest changes to the software ahead of the public beta launch. Normally at this point in the summer, Apple still has plenty of feature revisions and design changes it’s iterating upon with each new beta. For example, we might see more Liquid Glass changes in this beta. No doubt the company is also focusing on stability and bug fixes with the public beta on the horizon. Though Apple hasn’t announced release timing other than ‘July,’ the watchOS 26 public beta will almost certainly be based on today’s beta 4 software build. Unless there are show-stopper bugs in today’s update that Apple needs to ship a quick fix for, we likely won’t see another developer beta arrive until August. As a result, watchOS 26 beta 4 is the best candidate to become the first public beta. In the meantime, we’ll keep you posted on any new features or changes introduced in today’s beta 4.
