Today’s 9to5Toys Lunch Break deals are starting off with a seriously rare Amazon deal on Apple’s 32GB M2 Max Mac Studio with the 30-Core GPU at $900 off the original list price. We then move over to the MacBook world with the 24GB 13-inch M4 Air now undercutting the Prime Day price at $160 off alongside the M4 Pro MacBook Pro at $240 off the price at Apple. Those offers join a host of MagSafe and charging accessory discounts alongside Amazon’s Renewed Premium 1TB iPhone 16 Pro at $489 off. Head below for a closer look.
Rare Amazon deal has Apple’s 32GB M2 Max Mac Studio w/ 30-Core GPU at $899 ($900 off, Renewed Premium)
Today we spotted a rare deal on Amazon for a Renewed Premium M2 Max Apple Mac Studio down at $899 shipped. This model launched with a $1,799 list price and still fetches as much brand new at Best Buy. It is also worth pointing out that this 32GB/512GB desktop machine is listed at $1,529 from the official Apple certified refurbished store.
There have been a couple light drops on these Mac Studio models courtesy of Amazon previously, but they are generally quite rare and this M2 Max listing just recently popped up on Amazon for the first time in its higher-end Renewed Premium condition over the last month or so.
Today’s deal is the lowest price we have ever tracked for this particularly machine coming straight from Amazon and offers up a ton of value by comparison to the prices on the current-generation M4 variants.
For comparison’s sake, in brand new condition the current M4 Max starts at $1,999 and the M3 Ultra Apple still sells starts at $3,999.
Now obviously we are talking about the 2023 M2 Max model and not the latest and greatest. But we are also talking about a Mac Studio with 32GB of RAM that is selling for less than the current-generation 24GB Mac mini– although it is on sale for $889 right now. That Mac mini also carries a 10-Core CPU/GPU combo by comparison to the 12-Core/30-Core setup in the Mac Studio we have here today.
It is an M2 chip and not an M4, and you might notice the difference with an otherwise comparable machine. And while it all depends on the application to some degree, I’m betting not very many folks with 12-Core/30-Core horsepower running on 32GB of RAM with the M2 Max chip will.
Apple’s 13-inch 24GB M4 MacBook Air undercuts Prime Day at $160 off today, 15-inch $180 off
While there were some wild deals coming and going across the M4 MacBook lineup back in late and into early June, we are starting to see some prices landing on select models that undercut the deals we saw during Prime Day earlier this month. Alongside the $180 price drop on the Midnight 15-inch 24GB model, the 13-inch modelis now at the best price of the summer deal season with $160 in savings.
You’ll now find the 24GB 13-inch M4 MacBook Air in Midnight and SkyBlue down at $1,239 shipped. Regularly $1,399, this is $160 off the list price and the lowest we can find.
You will indeed still find this model at $150 off via Best Buy and other retailers, so take that route if you have some store credit or gift cards in the holster that will deliver a lower price, but as of right now Amazon is the way to go otherwise.
The 24GB 13-inch M4 MacBook Air is the best model in the current-generation lineup in my opinion. It delivers a more future proof RAM count than the entry level 16GB variants while coming in at a whole lot less than the MacBook Pros and delivering more than enough power than most folks need.
While you will certainly be paying a whole lot more for the 24GB MacBook Pro right now, folks who can make do with the 16GB of RAM can indeed land the base model M4 MacBook Pro with the higher-end display (and then some…it is the pro for a reason) at $1,399 shipped, or $200 off the list price. This is still $160 more than the 24GB Air we are featuring here today, but if you’re looking to drop $1,200+ on a new MacBook right now it should at least be on your radar.
Least expensive M4 Pro MacBook Pro in the current-gen lineup is now $240 off at Amazon
Some notable M4 and M4 Pro MacBook Pro deals have been popping up over the last couple weeks after mostly skipping out on the Prime Day festivities. We still have $200 off the base model M4 as well as a giant $330 in savings on this upgraded 14-inch M4 Pro, but today we are splitting the difference as the most affordable 24GB M4 Pro MacBook Pro is now $240 off at Amazon.
Amazon is now offering both the Silver and Space Black M4 Pro MacBook Pro with 24GB of RAMand the 512GB SSD down at $1,759 shipped. This is the most affordable M4 Pro model in the lineup that carries a list price at $1,999 and is now $240 under the list price at Apple.
We did see a doorbuster deal at the end of last year that had this model at $59 less than it is now as well as a few sharp dips a few months ago that didn’t stick around for very long. But considering how stagnant notable deal pricing has been on this model over that timeframe, we thought it would be a good idea to highlight the drop we are seeing today at Amazon for folks looking to grab one for back to school or otherwise.
But as mentioned above, there are a couple notable discounts live right now on various configurations, the best of which you’ll find waiting for you below:
And if you’re eyes are trained on the Air instead, Apple’s Midnight 15-inch 24GB M4 MacBook Air is now $180 off at Amazon.
Amazon’s Renewed Premium 1TB iPhone 16 Pro listing just dropped back to the all-time low ($489 off)
We caught some notable and actually quite surprising official Prime Day deals on Amazon Renewed Premium iPhone 16 Pro units earlier this month, but those offers only hit the mid-range 256GB and 512GB models. Today we are taking a looking at the 1TB iPhone 16 Pro that is now $489 less than buying a new unlocked unit from Apple.
We have seen this particular 1TB Amazon listing for the black Titanium model down at $1,099 a number of times this year. But scoring one of these brand new from Apple will run you $1,499 and the Renewed Premium units straight from Amazon have now dropped down to $1,010.84 shipped. That’s $489 off and only the second time we have seen them down at the lowest we have tracked on Amazon. As of right now only the black model is down this low.
For us, Amazon’s Renewed Premium listings are among the very best source of deals on the current-generation iPhone models. Thus far, its 16 Pro deals have been the best we have seen online from a dealer as reputable and with a 1-year warranty attached. You might want to hold off at this point for the 17 series devices expected to launch this September, but you will be paying full price for unlocked units there, and we will likely be well into 2026 before Amazon’s premium refurbs pop up on those – just something to keep in mind.
Today’s accessories and charging deals:
Apple’s 24GB M4 Pro Mac mini drops again to $1,247 ($152 off), 24GB M4 model down at $889
Apple’s most affordable 14-inch M4 MacBook Pro now $200 off via Amazon at $1,399 + more up to $339 off
Deals on the latest MacBook Pro lineup for Prime day last week were nearly nonexistent. We did catch some of the higher-end upgraded models at notable prices, but when it came to the more affordable end of the lineup, Amazon essentially passed them over in favor of particularly notable iPad and AirPods deals. Today however, it is has now knocked $200 off the most affordable modelin the lineup.
Amazon is now offering the base 14-inch M4 MacBook Pro with 16GB of RAM and the 512GB SSD down at $1,399 shipped – this includes both the Space Black and Silver models. Regularly $1,599, this is $200 off the list price at Apple and the lowest we can find from a reputable dealer online.
You will also find this same deal matched over at B&H right now – it is only $150 off at Best Buy right now.
While we have seen this model drop lower in a few short-lived sale opportunities across 2025, alongside a couple chances at a $1,395 deal price earlier in the year, this model did not see any particularly notable deals for Prime Day last week so we wanted to make sure today’s $200 discount was on your radar.
You are indeed looking at the absolute most affordable MacBook Pro in the current-generation lineup, packed with the M4 chip, a Liquid Retina XDR display with up to 1600 nits peak brightness, a a 12MP Center Stage camera, and three Thunderbolt 4 ports. But you likely knew all that already – it’s all about the $200 discount here.
