For the past hour, Starlink customers around the globe have had trouble using the service. Although unrelated, the outage comes just one day after T-Mobile launched its integration with the satellite network. On X, Starlink acknowledged that it is working through the solution of a global outage, which began a little more than an hour ago: Starlink is currently in a network outage and we are actively implementing a solution. DownDetector also shows a spike in outage reports, although it appears the service has already started to recover. T-Mobile and Starlink integration out of beta Today’s outage comes one day after T-Mobile officially launched its T-Satellite service, which uses Starlink satellites to provide basic connectivity in areas without cellular coverage. It supports text messaging and location sharing (including with Apple’s Emergency SOS feature), and works on over 60 devices, including iPhone 13 and newer, Pixel 9, and recent Galaxy models.
