Introduced in iOS 18.2, the Share Item Location feature lets users share a live tracking link for AirTag or other Find My-compatible accessories, including with airlines to help locate lost luggage. Today, another airline joined the list of official partners. Here’s the full updated list. Saudi Arabia gets Share Item Location support When Apple announced the Share Location Feature for AirTag, it also started working with “more than 15 airlines” to implement a system that would let users securely share a live link of the tracked item, and help recover misplaced luggage faster. Since then, the original list has almost doubled. And now, Saudia, the national airline carrier of Saudi Arabia, has joined in. In a LinkedIn post, the official Saudia account said: ”As part of this initiative, guests can generate a secure Share Item Location link through the Find My app on their iPhone, iPad, or Mac. This link can then be submitted via Saudia’s dedicated digital portal. For added peace of mind, location sharing ends automatically once the baggage is recovered, can be stopped manually at any time, and expires after seven days.” The post also reminds AirTag owners that the feature works on iOS 18.2 and up, iPadOS 18.2 and up, and macOS 15.2 and up.
