Spotify has been gradually rolling out its Audiobooks+ service around the world, and today it has reached subscribers in the United States.
After testing the Audiobooks+ service in Canada and Ireland, Spotify began expanding it to additional markets in July. The expanded audiobook streaming service reached the U.K., Australia, New Zealand, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Liechtenstein on July 17.
As of today, Spotify Premium customers in the U.S. can access the expanded audiobook feature as well, building on the existing audiobook offerings from the music streaming service.

They can also purchase a one-time 10-hour top-up if they run out of hours before their monthly billing cycle refreshes.
Spotify Premium starts at $11.99/month for individuals in the United States. Yesterday, Spotify announced price increases coming to several markets around the world.
