This week on streaming, get ready for crime of every kind. True crime, crime thrillers -- it's all in there.
Over on Apple TV Plus, Julianne Moore stars in the new film Echo Valley as a mother who helps her daughter cover up a murder. Peacock also just released its latest true crime show, The Gilgo Beach Killer: House of Secrets, a three-part series about a Long Island serial killer that lived a double life, working as an architect in Manhattan by day, and preying on women by night.
For something a little lighter, check out Deep Cover on Prime Video, a film about three improvisers recruited by the police to go undercover and infiltrate a gang. The film, which stars Bryce Dallas Howard, Nick Mohammed and Orlando Bloom, is out now.
If crime is NOT your thing, don't worry, there's a lot more out there than just killers and spies. We suggest Call Her Alex, the new docuseries about podcaster Alex Cooper that's already creating tons of buzz, or the film that originally defined "summer blockbuster," the Steven Spielberg classic, Jaws. (Oops, I guess that film is all about a killer, sorry.) Jaws arrives on Peacock -- along with its three sequels -- this Sunday. The films will stream exclusively on the platform.
These titles and many more are part of this weekend's new releases -- here's all the info you need to tune in.
