Beats is rolling out a fresh limited-edition version of its recently relaunched Beats Pill Bluetooth speaker, teaming up with Bulgarian-born fashion designer Kiko Kostadinov.
Known for blending modern form with historical references, Kostadinov brings his signature aesthetic to the portable speaker’s design.
The Kiko Kostadinov Beats Pill features a custom grille inspired by intricate geometric patterns found in ancient Thracian art, a nod to Kostadinov’s heritage. The speaker’s body is finished in “Kiko gray,” the designer’s hallmark neutral tone, while braided straps reference traditional Bulgarian amulets and ritual strings — objects where color and craftsmanship have symbolic meaning.

The limited-edition Kiko Kostadinov Beats Pill is a thoughtful fusion of modern design and historical influence. For this collaboration, we looked to the ornate geometry found in ancient iconography, reinterpreting those motifs for the speaker’s custom grill. These shapes, rooted in the visual language of Thracian craftsmanship, speak to a history where pattern and meaning were closely intertwined. The speaker is finished in our signature “Kiko gray,” a cool, neutral tone that adds a subtle, utilitarian edge. The braided lanyard acts as a subtle talisman—echoing the protective charms and ceremonial threads found in Bulgarian folk tradition, where color and craft carry meaning across generations.
This special edition will be available exclusively at Kiko Kostadinov Tokyo.
The collaboration follows a long tradition of limited-run Beats products created with musicians, designers, and brands. In fact, the new Beats Pill includes a collaboration with Kim Kardashian with Light Gray and Dark Gray variants.
Meanwhile, Target and Walmart each have their own exclusive Beats Pill colors with Blush Pink and Navy Blue, respectively. The Bluetooth speaker is generally available in Matte Black, Champagne Gold, and Statement Red.
The limited edition is built on the all-new Beats Pill with USB-C introduced in June 2024, which replaced the long-discontinued Beats Pill+ model with Lightning and USB-A ports. The new version added a built-in lanyard, longer battery life, improved sound, and a more durable, water-resistant build.
