It’s back to school season and when it comes to Apple gear, that means MacBook Air deals. This year has been particularly notable in this regard as the 2025 lineup of M4-equipped models have all been siting at $200 off via Amazon and other retailers for some time now, including all sizes, colors, and storage configurations on offer. But we are also tracking a series of deals on rarely discounted configurations with higher-end specs that might offer up better bang for your buck in the long run.
By and large, the standard 16GB and 24GB models you can get from Amazon are just fine for most people. If you’re looking towards the MacBook Air lineup, you’re doing so because it comes in at a much lower price point than the pro models and still delivers a compelling laptop experience that will do you well for years (in most cases, and for most folks).
The base model at $799, or $200 off the list price, delivers a ton of value especially considering Apple dropped the MSRP by $100 this year and it is barely half way through its life cycle at this point.
But if, like me, you’re starting to consider the upgraded models that can, often times, better handle future macOS upgrades and more demanding features/apps you might want to leverage, some of the deals we are tracking on upgraded configs could be a better option for you while they are $200 off.
The standard 13- and 15-inch M4 MacBook Air models with 24GB of RAM and the 512GB SSD are $200 off at Amazon and they certainly fit the bill here to some degree:
But there are also some upgraded models at $200 off courtesy of B&H right now that might not be on sale for much longer – we have already seen some models jump up in price over the last few days. These include 1TB variants and some seriously upgraded 32GB RAM specs as well:
There’s certainly nothing wrong with the base configs, but over the last couple generations I have thought to myself more than once: “I should have just got the higher-spec model” when things start to feel less snappy. And we just wanted to make sure these options were on the table for folks who might have felt the same while they are still on sale at the lowest prices we have tracked.
Apple’s M4 Pro MacBook Pro upgraded with 48GB of RAM hits one of its best prices ever at $300 off
Authorized and beloved Apple dealer B&H has been landing with some seriously notable deals on MacBooks as of late, many of which on configurations you can’t even buy at Amazon and the big box retailers. While we already spotted a notable discount on the M4 Pro MacBook Pro with the heavily upgraded 48GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD setup, there is also a solid deal on the more affordable 48GB/512GB config at $300 off as well.
To land the 48GB/1TB model you’ll need to shell out $2,499 (that’s $300 off the regular $2,799 list price). But if you’re looking for the serious RAM upgrade without spending that much, B&H is also offering the 14-inch M4 Pro MacBook Pro with 48GB of RAM and the 512GB SSD down at $2,099 shipped.
That’s $300 off the regular $2,399 list price from Apple, among the lowest prices we have ever tracked on this configuration, and a model you can’t buy on Amazon.
Now, you are of course still paying quite a pretty penny to land this sort of internal horsepower. There are $300 price drops live across the more modest setups that are arguably more than enough for most folks – you can land the M4 Pro machine with 24GB of RAM and the same 512GB internal SSD for $400 less at $1,699 shipped on Amazon right now after all.
But either way, the MacBook Pro deals are flying ahead of the busy Apple Q4 launch season that starts next month, and deals from $1,299 on the latest M4 models are still alive and waiting:
Massive $360 price drop hits latest 1TB 11-inch M3 iPad Air Cell model at Amazon (All-time low)
While we are still running an exclusive discount with $300 off the 128GB 13-inch M2 iPad Air Wi-Fi + Cell model, Amazon just launched a notable Lightning deal of its own with a deep discount on an M3 model. You’ll now find the 1TB 11-inch M3 iPad Air Wi-Fi + Cell variant at nearly $360 off the list price.
Amazon is now offering the 11-inch iPad Air with the M3 chip and 1TB of storage alongside the always connected Cell upgrade down at $889.70 shipped.
This is a regularly $1,249 configuration that has never dropped as low as we are tracking right now. You’re looking at nearly $360 in savings and the lowest price we have ever seen on this config from Amazon.
While the M4 iPad Pro lineup has seen much deeper deals than $360 off – we are still offering a config at over $550 off, the iPad Air lineup’s deals are never quite as substantial. Seeing anything at over $150 off on the latest model is solid, $200 off is seriously notable, and $360 off is easily among the best price drops we have ever tracked on the latest models.
This deal is only live on the Starlight model right now as part of the special Lightning offer, but we certainly didn’t expect to see all of them anywhere near a price this low, this soon. Get in there while you can.
Amazon just knocked the M4 Mac mini down to $499 shipped
We are still tracking a number of notable discounts on the higher-end upgraded configurations of Apple’s latest M4 Mac mini you’ll find down below, most of which are particularly rare offers. But Amazon is stepping in this morning with a deal on the most affordable M4 Mac mini configuration down at $499 shipped.
The base model M4 Mac mini carries a 10-core CPU and a 10-core GPU alongside 16GB of RAM and a 256GB SSD at $599. It delivers some serious value for folks who just don’t need any more power than that, and now even more so with a $100 discount down to $499.
Today’s deal is the best price we have tracked in months on Amazon and lands on par with most of the deals we have seen this year. Back in late June it did go for $30 less than this, with a few very short-lived drops into the $488 – $495 range before that, but it’s hard to deny the value of landing a current-generation M4-equipped Mac at $499 either way.
Amazon has also dropped the price on the 16GB/512GB model down to $689 shipped from the regular $799 list price for $110 in savings – this is matching the lowest price we have tracked at Amazon on this config.
