Drift Deadline reports Andy Muschietti is attached to direct Drift, a “grounded science fiction” film described as “Gravity meets Arrival.” Based on an unpublished short story by Ben Queen (Cars 2, The Addams Family 2) and Jason Shuman (Acapulco), the story concerns “a once-legendary, now fallen from grace shuttle commander” who “is pulled into a high-stakes hostage exchange in space to get his boy back from captors who are not from Earth.” Dead Howling Deadline also report Ryan Kwanten, Temuera Morrison and Tom Burlinson will star in Dead Howling, a post-apocalyptic werewolves vs zombies movie from director John V.
