Anthropic announced it is merging its separate Claude Cowork and Claude Design features directly into the main Claude chatbot experience, accessible from the prompt bar. Users can now select Docs, Slides, or Design options while typing a prompt instead of switching between separate tabs, while Claude Code remains a standalone tool. The update also introduces dedicated Docs and Slides widgets that let users generate and share files as links, PDFs, or PowerPoint downloads.
