The Call Center Doctors rented a four-GPU Nvidia H200 server on September 27 to run DeepSeek V4.1 Flash for its Claude Code coding agents instead of Claude Opus 5.5. The firm found the on-demand box cost $440.88 a day versus $184-$223 a day to get the same work done through DeepSeek's API, and it ultimately switched back to Opus 5.5, which worked out cheaper than keeping the rented hardware running.
Kiteworks released patches addressing 126 vulnerabilities across its Private Content Network platform, including a critical bug tracked as CVE-2026-54154 affecting its Email Protection Gateway. The flaw, found via Kiteworks' bug bounty program, could let an unauthenticated attacker chain path traversal, code injection, and missing authentication issues to gain root control of an appliance without user interaction. The company also patched 11 other critical flaws spanning authentication bypass, admin takeover, and XSS issues, fixing all affected EPG versions before 9.4.1.
Google has relaunched its Pixel Referral Program for the US Google Store, giving buyers a 10% discount when they check out with a referral code. CISA has issued an advisory for CVE-2026-84411, a critical integer underflow bug in MikroTik RouterOS's web-management HTTP handling that can be triggered before authentication. Versions below 7.24 are affected, and the agency says the vendor advises upgrading to 7.23 or later, though it hasn't published its own advisory yet.

As of September 29, the project has collected 6 of 10 baseline days using a fixed harness, pinned CLI version, and a panel of 2,336 GPQA Diamond and MMLU-Pro questions, with no missed days so far. The first statistical comparison window won't be possible until around October 24, 2026.
