OpenAI has released ChatGPT for Financial Services, a specialized version of its enterprise product built with input from Morgan Stanley and Evercore. Powered by its newest model, GPT-6 Astra, the tool can research companies, analyze financial data and automatically build the pitch decks that junior investment bankers typically produce by hand.
Windows admins report that this month's cumulative updates for Windows Server 2019, 2022, and 2025 are breaking Remote Desktop Services, with servers working fine for a few hours before connections begin to fail. Existing sessions can get stuck unable to disconnect, new logins hang and time out, and in many cases only a hard reset restores service. Some administrators say uninstalling the September patch is the only reliable fix so far.

Amazon has struck a deal with OpenAI allowing advertisers to buy ChatGPT ad inventory through Amazon's demand-side platform, with Delta Vacations among the first U.S. brands testing the integration. Ads will appear as sponsored text and image units below ChatGPT's free and Go-tier responses, purchased on a cost-per-click or cost-per-thousand-impressions basis and managed by Amazon's team, though OpenAI retains control over ad delivery.

Cisco Talos researchers identified two separate ClickFix-style social engineering campaigns that trick victims into executing malicious code themselves, one aimed at stealing cryptocurrency and another designed to gain persistent enterprise network access. One campaign uses a publicly shared Google Sheet to distribute malicious browser code that hijacks Chrome transaction interfaces, while both operations abuse legitimate cloud services and trusted software to disguise malicious activity as normal user behavior.
An Ampere Analysis report cited by Business Insider found that average ad minutes per hour across major US ad-supported streaming tiers rose 18% between January and August 2026.
