Personnel from the Henryk Arctowski Polish Antarctic Station on Antarctica’s King George Island first found and recovered some of the remains on the Ecology Glacier in January, according to a statement by the British Antarctic Survey (BAS). Samsung Messages hints at satellite support, but should you get your hopes up? (APK teardown)

Ryan Haines / Android Authority TL;DR Users found references to Satellite Messaging in the Samsung Messages app. However, the checked version of the app is old. The relevant code was actually added back in December 2024 and hasn’t changed since. There’s no indication that active feature development is underway, so don’t get your hopes up for satellite messaging. I’d given up on Samsung’s foldables, but the Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 give me faith

Lanh Nguyen / Android Authority I thought Samsung’s foldables were dead in the water. Leading up to Unpacked, I had almost nothing to be excited about with the Galaxy Z Flip 7 or Z Fold 7, because I assumed they’d be more of the same. After all, that’s mostly what Samsung has done in the last few years — make a few minor updates, add new AI features, and trust you to buy them anyway because there’s no other competition. And, if that stayed true, I was all too happy to stick with a Razr Ultra in

Inside the Multimillion-Dollar Gray Market for Video Game Cheats

Over the last two years, a group of computer scientists has been analyzing and mapping the online cheat marketplace, observing what behavi

The laptop you bring to college is important. Not only is it the device you'll be using through some of the most formative years of your life, but it's also often the one that you'll take to your first job, too. The problem is that the internet is full of laptops that aren't worth the money, especially if you're scrolling through lists of laptops on Amazon or Best Buy. Good news! I've tested each of the following laptops myself and can wholeheartedly recommend them. More than that, I've been di

Vanishing from Hyundai’s data network

The Yuppie Button page talks about making lots of light. Now I needed to do the opposite, by "going dark" -- to vanish completely from Hyundai's data network, and avoid having the car being tracked or actively interfered with outside of my control. See, this is one of the showstopping problems I have with Tesla -- they *insist* that you have your car online all the time, talking to Tesla's cloud and sending telematic data. Thank you, NO. The range of things that Hyundai's BlueLink setup is able

Why investors just bet $85M on this Indian company’s generic drug strategy

With over 400 million chronic patients, India is one of the world’s largest medicine markets. But while most e-pharmacies chase speed, affordability remains the real challenge. Truemeds took a different route: helping patients switch to lower-cost substitutes, a bet now paying off with new funding at about four times its previous valuation. The six-year-old startup has raised $85 million in a new round that includes $65 million in primary and $20 million in secondary funding led by Accel, along

I tried coding with AI, I became lazy and stupid

I tried coding with AI, I became lazy and stupid# Around April 2025, my boss at $dayjob insisted we try AI tools for coding. It wasn't toxic pressure or anything like "20% of your code needs to be AI", just a concern from him that we could miss on something. I understand why he asked that and I don't blame him. We are in difficult economic period even for software, and we have salaries to pay. If AI can increase productivity or our margins, it should be at least put on the table of negotiations

‘Weapons’ Runs to Big $70M Global Opening in Debut Weekend

“Are you watching?” asks a creepy voice in the trailer for Weapons. And the answer to that question is a resounding “yes.” Per Variety, Zach Cregger’s sophomore outing earned $70 million worldwide. Domestically, its $42.5 million take was $10 million ahead of projections, and its overall take marks another win for New Line and parent company Warner Bros. “The Hollow Men” at 100

Eliot in 1926. Photography by Henry Ware Eliot. “The Hollow Men,” as we have it now, was first published in T.S. Eliot’s Poems: 1909-1925. It is the final poem in the collection, appearing directly after The Waste Land. To say it was first published in 1925 is a little misleading. The third section (of the five) appeared in the 1924 miscellany The Chapbook. It was part of a grouping of three lyrics under the title “Doris’s Dream Songs.” (Most of the contributors to The Chapbook are forgotten.

Aamir Siddiqui / Android Authority Recently, T Satellite service officially became available for both existing T-Mobile customers and those on other networks that want satellite backup for emergencies. I have since signed up for the service myself and had the opportunity to field test it alongside a Galaxy S25 Edge that is capable of utilizing Skylo satellites via Verizon’s network. As someone who lives smack dab in rural America, there are plenty of dead spots within a 20-35 minute drive from
