LeoLabs deploys portable Scout-S radar as satellite count nears 17,000

LeoLabs has built a shipping-container-sized radar called Scout-S that can be deployed almost anywhere with just a generator and a Starlink connection, aimed at tracking the fast-growing population of satellites and debris in orbit. The company demonstrated the system in Maui, highlighting how tools once reserved for fixed government installations are becoming mobile and commercial.
