YouTube adds AI custom feeds, Shorts episodes and GIF comments

At its Made by YouTube event, the company announced users will soon build custom homepage feeds via conversational AI prompts, first rolling out to US users on web, mobile and TV. YouTube also expanded its shows feature to Shorts for episodic sequencing, added a searchable GIF library for mobile comments globally this fall, and introduced voice-to-text commenting on supported TVs.
