Apple updated its list of digital cameras with system-level RAW file support, adding 11 new models from Fujifilm, OM System, Panasonic, and Phase One. This brings the total number of supported cameras to 562 across iOS, iPadOS, macOS, and visionOS.
Rugged laptops such as Panasonic's Toughbook 40, Getac's B360 Pro, Dell's Pro Rugged 13 and Durabook's Z14I weigh far more than consumer models because of reinforced frames, sealed ports and outdoor-ready displays built to survive drops, dust and water. Despite carrying modern Intel Core Ultra chips and even optional discrete graphics, these machines still prioritize durability features like extra Ethernet ports or serial connectors over slimness or top-tier performance.
Panasonic's new Lumix L10 compact camera builds on the LX100 II but is bulkier and heavier, weighing 508 grams versus 392 grams. It keeps the same 24-75mm equivalent Leica zoom lens while adding a fully articulating high-resolution rear screen, an electronic viewfinder, and a full-sized battery shared with other Panasonic cameras.
The Panasonic Q combined a GameCube with a DVD and CD player in one chassis, but the two functions operated as separate systems rather than a true integration—game audio stayed on standard analog output while home theater features like Dolby Digital and DTS applied only to movie playback. Users had to manually toggle between gaming and DVD modes with a hardware switch, and the console shipped with matching Panasonic-branded controller and remote. Today, original units sell for well over $1,000 due to their rarity and collector interest.
