The Panthers and Jaguars were two of the worst teams in the league last year, and if their respective quarterbacks don't improve this season, each will examine its supposed franchise QB closely.
It's Year 3 in Carolina for former first overall pick Bryce Young, who showed some improvement last season in head coach Dave Canales' first year.
It's Year 5 in Jacksonville for Trevor Lawrence, but he'll have a new head coach calling plays for him this season in Liam Coen, who took the job in Jacksonville after a successful season as the OC in Tampa Bay.
And Lawrence will also have a new weapon in two-way star Travis Hunter, but it remains to be seen how much time the rookie will divide his time at receiver on offense and cornerback on defense.
