GoKawiilMarketed as a streaming service of originals, the Apple TV streaming service has been slowly growing its catalog of exclusive TV shows and movies. But Apple has just complemented its offering with a bunch of classic movies to stream with your subscription at no extra charge.
It’s currently not clear if this new initiative is intended to be permanent, or a limited time promotion. The service experimented with something similar a few years ago, but it didn’t last too long.
You can find the current offering in a new ‘Great Movies Available Now on Apple TV’ carousel in the Apple TV app.
The exact list of what’s available varies by region, but we have seen offerings in United States, Canada and the United Kingdom. The list of free movies for the US includes:
Usually available to buy or rent from the Apple TV Store, all of these movies are now labelled as “Just Added” to stream for free with an Apple TV subscription. You can get a seven-day free trial to Apple TV for new accounts here. It normally costs $12.99 per month, or $99 per year. You can also get access to Apple TV through the Apple One bundle.

The next original movie on the slate is Mayday, an action-comedy starring Ryan Reynolds and Kenneth Branagh, premiering in September.
