When to watch the Giants vs. Commanders
Sunday, Sept. 7, at 1 p.m. PT (10 a.m. ET).
Where to watch
The Giants-Commanders game will air on CBS.
The Commanders were the surprise team of 2024, with rookie QB Jayden Daniels leading Washington to a 12-5 record in the regular season before making a playoff run to the NFL championship game. Their attempt to return to the playoffs this year begins with a divisional matchup at home against the Giants, who are looking to rebound from a 3-14 disaster of a season. The Giants brought in Russell Wilson to start at quarterback until first-round pick Jaxson Dart is ready.
The Giants and Commanders kick off Sunday in Landover, Maryland, at 1 p.m. ET (10 a.m. PT) on Fox. Here's how you can watch or stream it live, even if the game isn't available on your local Fox channel.
The game will be shown on TV in the NYC and DC areas (according to 506 Sports) and on live TV streaming services, but there may be cases where you're blocked because of an internet location glitch. There is an option that doesn't require subscribing to something like NFL Sunday Ticket or NFL Plus or searching the internet for a sketchy website: You can use a virtual private network.
Here's how you can watch the game from anywhere in the US with a VPN.
