When to watch the Steelers vs. Jets
Sunday, Sept. 7, at 1 p.m. PT (10 a.m. ET).
Where to watch
The Steelers vs. Jets game will air on CBS.
It's a homecoming for Aaron Rodgers to start the season, but he'll be visiting a previous house of horrors. After two disastrous seasons with the Jets, the 41-year-old quarterback postponed retirement for another year and signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers, who start the 2025 season on the road against none other than the New York Jets.
It's the start of a new era in New York for the Jets, with new head coach Aaron Glenn at the helm and Justin Fields under center. Fields began last season as the Steelers' quarterback before being sent to the bench. So, both Fields and Rodgers will be looking to start the season with a win against their former teams.
The game will be shown on TV in the NYC and Pittsburgh areas (according to 506 Sports) and on live TV streaming services, but there may be cases where you're blocked because of an internet location glitch. There is an option that doesn't require subscribing to something like NFL Sunday Ticket or NFL Plus, or searching the internet for a sketchy website: You can use a virtual private network.
Here's how you can watch the game from anywhere in the US with a VPN.
