iOS 26.1 beta 1 debuted today, and offers big expansions of AirPods Live Translation and Apple Intelligence thanks to new supported languages. Here are the details.
iOS 26.1 adds five new AirPods Live Translation languages, eight for Apple Intelligence
Last week when iOS 26 and AirPods Pro 3 launched to the public, Apple mentioned that new supported languages would be coming soon for Apple Intelligence and AirPods Live Translation.
In this case, “soon” really did mean quite soon. iOS 26.1 beta 1 expands the supported languages on both fronts.
With AirPods Live Translation, iOS 26.1 now supports:
Chinese (Mandarin, simplified)
Chinese (Mandarin, traditional)
Italian
Japanese
Korean
