George Lowe, Star of Adult Swim’s Space Ghost, Has Died

George Lowe, a comedian and voice actor best known for his role as Space Ghost in the Adult Swim animated talk show series Space Ghost Coast to Coast, has died at 67. News of Lowe’s passing was first announced on Facebook by Lowe’s longtime friend “Marvelous” Marvin Boon. TVLine later confirmed Lowe’s passing. According to TVLine, Lowe passed away March 2, reportedly after battling a long illness. “I’m beyond devastated,” Boon wrote. “My Zobanian brother and best friend for over 40 years, George Lowe, has passed away after a long illness. A part of me [has] also died. He was a supremely talented artist and voice actor. A true warm-hearted genius. Funniest man on Earth too. I’ve stolen jokes from him for decades.
