Mophie has announced its iconic Juice Pack lineup of battery cases for the iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max, and iPhone Air. There’s support for passthrough charging, audio, and more.
Battery life is one of the compromises you’ll make if you opt for the ultra-thin iPhone Air. Apple sells a standalone MagSafe Battery for the device, but Mophie’s Juice Pack incorporates the same amount of charge into a case for your iPhone Air. Mophie says the case was designed to be as slim as possible to avoid adding too much bulk to the iPhone Air design.
Here are the battery specs for each model:
iPhone Air: 2,400 mAh battery that provides an extra 60% charge.
iPhone 17 Pro: 3,000 mAh battery that provides an extra 50% charge.
iPhone 17 Pro Max: 3,600 mAh battery that provides an extra 50% charge.
The latest Juice Pack cases offer passthrough charging with USB-C. When you plug in the Juice Pack, it will intelligently charge your iPhone first and the Juice Pack second. There’s also support for audio passthrough for the first time, so you can use your wired headphones with the Juice Pack’s USB-C port.

In terms of durability, Mophie says the Juice Pack cases for iPhone 17 and iPhone Air offer “high-impact protection to help shield the iPhone from everyday drops and bumps. This includes a raised edge around the front to help protect your iPhone’s screen from cracks and scratches. There’s also an integrate magnet to work with select MagSafe accessories.
