Black Friday is almost here, which means the holidays are right around the corner. Sony appears to be in the gift-giving mood, as there will be five games available to download for free PlayStation Plus subscribers in December.

PlayStation Plus, which is Sony's version of Xbox Game Pass, offers a large, constantly expanding library of games. Subscribers can choose from the Essential, Extra and Premium tiers, each with unique perks and benefits. Starting at $10 a month, the plans give subscribers access to monthly games and rewards.

Here are the games PS Plus subscribers can play starting in December. You can also check out the games Sony added to the PS Plus Game Catalog in November, including Stray.

Lego Horizon Adventures

The Horizon games received the Lego treatment last year with Lego Horizon Adventures, and soon, PS Plus subscribers can add it to their game library. Aloy will once again battle machines to save the Earth, but in a more light-hearted adventure than the other games. She can be joined by other heroes from the games, such as Varl, Teersa and Erend. Players can play co-op on the couch with a friend or online.

Only PS Plus Extra and Premium subscribers can play this game in December.

Killing Floor III

Killing Floor 3 came out back in July and continues the franchise's theme of letting players kill a ton of monsters. The horror horde shooter has players take on waves of bioengineered creatures in up to six-player co-op. The megacorp Horzine is behind these monsters roaming the streets, and it's up to Specialists from the rebel faction Nightfall to take down these hordes of Zeds to improve their gear and gadgets to mow down even more monsters.

All PS Plus subscribers can access this game in December.
