Black Friday officially lands tomorrow, but ExpressVPN has launched a deal now dropping the popular virtual private network (VPN) service to the lowest price I've ever seen.
Joining competitors that have already launched their own Black Friday promotions, including NordVPN and Surfshark, ExpressVPN is now only $2.44/month on a two-year, basic contract -- a steep drop from its usual $3.49 price tag. In addition, you are given four month of free access. (A note that you may see the old price on the signup page, but don't worry -- the discount should be applied at checkout.)
ExpressVPN introduced a new tiered payment system only four or five months ago, in which its standard $5/month pricing was replaced with three plans: Basic, Advanced, and Pro. Each plan includes a different number of simultaneous connections (10 to 14), and its premium offerings also include features such as a password manager and eSIM data.
In its first-ever Black Friday deal, if you opt for the basic plan, you will save around $30 over the length of your contract, thanks to the drop from $3.49 to $2.44.

ExpressVPN has consistently ranked among my recommendations as one of the best VPNs in the market today. While I've always considered it to be on the pricier end -- and that has factored into my rankings -- this VPN service is also one of the fastest, with minimal speed loss recorded in the speed tests I frequently conduct.
Its server network covers 105 countries, giving you plenty of scope if you want to use your VPN for streaming or bypassing geolocation blocks. This VPN also provides you with solid security, 10 - 14 simultaneous connections, multi-platform and mobile compatibility, and optional extras including a password manager.
While I think the best deal is for its basic package, if you opt for an Advanced or Pro package, you will also receive up to 75% off the Aircove. ExpressVPN's Aircove is a router with the VPN pre-installed, and so if you want blanket coverage for all of your devices, this deal might also interest you.
